Professional Dress Code

The School of Hospitality Management requires professional attire for all Company Information Sessions and Interviews.  Student ambassadors will identify students dressed inappropriately during Information Session sign-in’s and will refuse entrance to those individuals found to be in violation of the appearance standards.

All Students:
All students will dress professionally. Acceptable professional dress means the way you would dress for a professional hospitality work situation.

Hats should not be worn in class unless they are for recognized religious, medical, or cultural purposes. BASEBALL CAPS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Cleaned and pressed trousers (with belt)
Dress shoes (with socks)
Dress shirts (tucked within your pants) with collars and ties
*Jean or denim shirts or pants are not acceptable.

Business suits (slacks or skirts)
Cleaned and pressed blouses (sleeveless blouses are not acceptable)
Dress slacks or skirts
Dress shoes (no open toed shoes).
